Bring your unwanted (but still in good condition) books and swap them for a some new (to you) books. Books for all ages and in all languages are welcome.

Three local authors are scheduled to read at this year at the book swap!

2:30 Beth Terry author of "Plastic Free: How I Kicked the Plastic Habit and You Can Too"

Time TBD Mary Ellen Hannibal author of "Spine of the Continent" and "Citizen Scientist"

Kathleen McClung is the recipient of the Rita Dove Poetry Award from Salem College 2012 International Literary Awards. She was also selected by Naomi Shihab Nye as the winner of the 2012 National Poetry Competition sponsored by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. She teaches writing courses at The Writing Salon.

Beth Terry is an Oakland based accountant who after learning about the devastating effects of plastic pollution on the environment and human health began an experiment to see if she could live without buying any new plastic. Since then, she has reduced her plastic waste to less than 2% of the national average.

Mary Ellen Hannibal has focused on science and the environmental writing for over 20 years. She serves as the Chair of the California Book Awards and is the co-producer of Litquake’s Braving the Elements programming, which focuses on books about the environment.
