Britain's Labour Party, currently headed by upstart Jeremy Corbyn, has recently endorsed serious consideration of Land Value Taxation (LVT) as a means of addressing a slew of social challenges, particularly the housing issue.
Come along on the walking tour which helped jump-start that endorsement. LVT originated, conceptually, in San Francisco through the pen of journalist Henry George back in the 1870s. A very well-placed member of the Labour Party came on this walk this past December and that experience contributed to the aforementioned endorsement.
If you are admiring the Labour Party and salivate over what its message and movement could mean for the American political left (we're specially but not only talking to YOU, Berniecrats), then you really ought to come on this free walk, which is nominally about San Francisco social movement history, but is really a trek through the most relevant and most ambitious political thought ever to emerge from the United States.
Or sleep in and pass up whetting your appetite for "What if?"
