Everett Middle School, 450 Church Street near 16th Street, San Francisco.
On the J Church and 22 Fillmore MUNI Lines. About 3 blocks from 16th Street BART.
The 41st annual San Francisco Free Folk Festival invites you to a full day of music, dance, and storytelling workshops and concerts, crafts, vendors, and fun for the whole family. All ages and musical interests are welcome. All events and workshops are open to anyone who wants to participate or just listen. Admission to everything is free! New this year: a full-day storytelling program presented by the Storytelling Association of California.
We rely on donations and sponsors to cover the cost of renting the facility and other expenses. All the performers and workshop leaders donate their time and talent. Many of them are members of the San Francisco Folk Music Club.
Since everyone involved is a volunteer, we can always use more help! See the volunteer page for more information, or go directly to our volunteer sign-up form.
The festival is run by the San Francisco Folk Music Club, a non-profit organization that was founded in 1948 and is still going strong. Membership is open to everyone.
