FROM STUDENTS OF UCSC! For its 17th season, the Miriam Ellis International Playhouse will present fully-staged performances in French, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish, with English super-titles projected above the stage. The program will be directed by Language lecturers and performed by Language students. French: Scenes from The Madwoman of Chaillot, by Jean Giraudoux, directed by Miriam Ellis. Japanese: Music of Japan by Sakae Fujita’s students Russian: Happy dating, everyone!, written and directed by Natalya Samokhina and her students. Spanish: Fable, by Samaniego, directed by Marta Navarro. Event Location: Stevenson Event Center, UCSC - FREE |
