Hello Cannabis Community!
Next Tuesday March 14th 7-9pm, CAA will be meeting in the side room of Redwood Pizza 6205 CA-9 in Felton. Things are really starting to move on the county level again and there are new opportunities to make our local cannabis rules more inclusive. Now is the time for organizations to come together and make a push for the kind of cannabis regulation Santa Cruz County needs and deserves! UPDATES AND COUNTY TIMELINES ON: EIR PROCESS DRAFT MANUFACTURING ORDINANCE AND LICENSING CULTIVATION ORDINANCE AND LICENSING TAXES!!!! DISCUSSION ON: COTTAGE LICENSING LOW/NO INCOME PATIENT ACESS PROGRAM PRIORITY LICENSING FOR WOMEN/PEOPLE OF COLOR. NON COMMERCIAL COLLECTIVE CULTIVATION ADULT USE PERSONAL CULTIVATION CULTIVATION, MANUFACTURING, PATIENT AND PUBLIC SURVEYS FUTURE MISSION OF CANNABIS ADVOCATES ALLIANCE URGENT!!! The public scoping period is for the EIR is happening now, we have all been encouraged to provide as much data and information as possible on all aspects of our industry. Including but not limited to cultivation, manufacturing, distribution ex. We have created an anonymous online survey that everyone should complete (paper surveys will be available Tuesday). Also we ask everyone who is comfortable to submit comments regarding what they do and how they do it directly to the planning department. The more data the better for us.
