Without dishonoring the great energy and bravery of WWII's "greatest generation," it's time to shadow that crowd with this generation's commitment to positively enacting the terms of justice.
Come along on a walking tour surveying San Francisco social movement history that concludes with the introduction to Fog City's "turn the world upside down" proposal for justice. The WWII generation's claim to fame is based upon stalwart reaction to the injustice of enshrined colonialism, fascism, and racial subjugation; what's now needed is an upright proposal for full, comprehensive justice that begins with acknowledging that the private ownership of land value is the greatest bane of justice. Free . . . unless you count loosening your current or prospective hold on land values a great loss.
