UAW 2865 UCB graduate students talk about a mass walk-out that they are calling statewide against the attacks on public education and the anti-labor agenda of the Trump government.
UAW 2865 UCB graduate student leaders Jackie Zaneri, UAW 2865 UCB Recording Secretary and Margaret Mary Downey, UAW 2865 UCB head steward talk about the reasons their local and all other UC locals will be striking on January 20, 2017 during the inauguration of Donald Trump. They discuss the fight for free public education and the attack on labor by the incoming Trump cabinet. They also attended a meeting of ILWU Local 10 to report on their actions and issues.
