Mountain View: No Dakota Pipeline & Trump Protest
A protest in front of a Wells Fargo bank in Mountain View, California to carry the message "No Dakota Access Pipeline" was already planned. Then the presidential election results were announced. The Alliance in Solidarity of Standing Rock on the San Francisco peninsula thusly added to their flier: We will also join our voices to the growing chorus of anti-Trump protests.
Protest was held November 15th.

At a pipeline protest today activists thundered, "we raise our voices against Trump here as well."
In addition to the chant "No Water/No Life", referring to the environmental danger that the pipeline presents in North Dakota, the Raging Grannies led a very loud one: "No Don-ald Trump/No KKK /No Ra-cist, Sexist USA".
A member of the All-African People's Revolutionary Party spoke to the racism that made possible Trump's election and an Apache tribe member spoke about the Dakota Pipeline being an issue of freedom of religion. Not only have members of Standing Rock been thrown into dog kennels and shot with rubber bullets, they have had their religious symbols including peace pipes broken. There were about 160 people at the rally which drew much honking of approval from drivers at the busy intersection.
