The ruling class wants us to celebrate Columbus Day. But Columbus launched the genocide of Native Americans, which continued for centuries. Today, the oppression of Native people continues in a thousand forms. But Native people are not just victims of colonization. They fight back. The current struggle to protect the land and the environment, against the Dakota Access Pipeline at Standing Rock Sioux reservation in North Dakota, is a continuation of that struggle. Join us in a Study Group as we read about the history of Native Struggles and discuss the current battle at Standing Rock.

Desde Wounded Knee hasta Standing Rock
Las Indígenas Luchan Contra la Opresión

viernes, 7 de octubre, 7pm
2969 Calle Mission , SF
