aurie Vollen, MD, MPH is a physician and human rights advocate. Since 2000, she has worked with medical marijuana patients, helping them harness the medicinal properties of cannabis, reduce their pharmaceutical use, and improve their sense of well-being. Dr. Vollen is convinced her that marijuana should be considered a first-line treatment option for a host of common-day medical ailments.
