Philly Protesters 10,000 Strong Outside DNC in 90-100 Degree Heat

by Register Peace & Freedom or Green
First, the Green Party is registering voters in Philly outside the Democrats' TV Show Advertising Convention, 14 hours a day from Sunday, July 24 through Thursday July 28, 2016 to sign up the disgruntled Democrats who are horrified by Clinton and/or Kaine, two peas in a fascist warmongering anti-labor trade agreement pod, with Kaine's icing on the cake being staunchly anti-abortion, in this (s)election of the first woman president.
Kaine's police state credentials were earned as Mayor of Richmond, Virginia. when he supported Project Exile, allowing people in possession of illegal guns to be convicted under federal law so as to send them to federal prison for 5 years far from Richmond, Virginia. See http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSKCN103012

Second: We hear that some people are finally leaving the Democratic Party after 42 years as Democrats. See http://www.philly.com/philly/news/20160725_Before_DNC__Thousands_defy_heat_to_demonstrate_for_Bernie__against_fracking.html

Third, the #CleanEnergyMarch twitter has some humdinger photos including nurses and Labor for Environmental Justice: Transition to Clean Energy Jobs. See https://twitter.com/hashtag/CleanEnergyMarch?src=hash

There is also supposed to have been a march for political prisoners in Philly today as Mumia Abu-Jamal remains illegally imprisoned in a Pennsylvania prison, framed by Democrat District Attorney Ed Rendell, who later became chair of the National Democratic Party Committee. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ed_Rendell and https://ballotpedia.org/Ed_Rendell

The other major political prisoner is Leonard Peltier, also framed for a crime he did not commit. See http://www.freeleonard.org/case/.

There are hundreds of political prisoners in American federal and state prisons, all of whom should be freed immediately. As to federal prisoners, Democrat Pres. Obama can pardon all of them. As to state prisoners, he can bring pressure to bear on state governors to pardon all of them or free them on medical grounds. Both Peltier and Abu-Jamal have serious ailments and are over age 60. There is no reason why anyone over age 50 should be sitting in any prison whatsoever as there is no job training for anyone over age 50, and that is all that should be going on in prisons, which should be rehabilitation centers.
