The War on the Oppressed & Those Who Effectively Resist

by Tur-Ha Ak
No matter what your analysis is on the recent shootings in Dallas and Baton Rouge (false flag, genuine acts of revolution, or reactionary overreactions), it is a fact that a common tactic of war is to frame your enemies in terms that justify aggression.
american-white-terrorists.jpg
Take note of these facts:

• 70% of police killings in 2016 have been committed by white men

• Since 1982 approximately 65% of of mass shooting are committed by white men

• The overwhelming majority of murders of white people are at the hands of white people

• U.S. intelligence agencies have assessed that white supremacy groups have as a matter of practice massively infiltrated branches of the U.S. military & police forces.

• In fact state defined terrorism on American soil in far and away a white dominated phenomenon.

But somehow we rarely see terms like White on White crime, White Radical Extremist, White Eurocentric Militants, Christian Crusadist, & most certainly not the most indictable of all labels “terrorist” in fact we most often see them referenced by the very benign term "Shooter", And it is often followed by a conversation about mental health. There is no attempt to categorize white men as terrorist. Even when they have a distinct anti government, anti black political position, there is rarely the persistent aggressive attempts to frame them as a larger organized terrorist threat that sets up the grounds for attack of the larger white community as is done in reference to shooters of African & Middle Eastern descent. For example Dylann Roof after viciously, and very methodological assassinating 12 black people based a very clearly stated political anti black ideology, was not only taken alive, but taken to Burger King, put in highest level ballistic vest available while being surrounded by presidential levels of security, now contrast that with the fact that

• Less than 20% of mass shootings are by people of middle eastern or African descent combined.

• Less than 20% of police killings are by people of African descent

• In fact the average citizens is more likely to be killed a car accident, or the flu, than by Black/or Muslim radicals.

Despite all the data when it is a person of Middle Eastern of African descent, even before there is one shred of evidence wild speculation, and terrorist branding saturate the news cycles. There is always an immediate attempt to tie the middle eastern or Black person to some liberatory philosophy that can be used to create a link to others who hold similar philosophies in order to criminalize whole communities and ideological strands. Terms like Muslim/Black Militant extremist, Radical Extremist, Afrocentric Extremist, & of course Terrorist are immediately applied even before any credible information is in, and are most often not taken alive.

The point of all of this is to highlight the truth of the matter, that there is a war on the oppressed in general & on those who effectively resist oppression not matter your idealogial perspective or approach. (This state phenomenon assassinated both Martin King & Malcolm X ( El Haj Malik Shabazz).) It is in our interest to stay critical, alert & prepare for the next wave of the assault on dissent. The reality is no matter what the truth is about these shootings the most relevant fact of the matter is, in the context of a predatory, terrorist governmental apparatus this will be used to

1. Change the narrative in favor of predatory politics & policing

2. Subvert the people exposure of the predatory state by dominating the news cycle with this counter narrative

3. Criminalize the activist/revolutionary community by association, this association will be established by useing our facebook post, writing, speeches, etc to create an ideological link

4. Validate the murders & aggression that we have witnessed in recordings like Alton Sterling, Philondo Castille and so many others

5. Justify increased surveillance & aggression on and against the activist community.

So in my opinion whether we can prove it is a false flag operation or not, is not the most relevant factor. What is most relevant, is what does this amounts to in terms of concrete repression on our communities. Be clear we have yet to face the levels of repression that our predecessor in this fight against state terror so brutally faced before us & are still suffering from to this very moment. Remember this is a very skilled state phenomenon we are facing. We must never underestimate their ability to use our sincerity, our need to speak truth to power, & our courageousness against us, if these are expressed in a reactive way. This fight demands discipline, critical analysis, and critical engagement based on that analysis. Don't allow them to use that fire in our gut to burn our house down, but we must also not back down or let our fight to combat white supremacy be neutralized or weakened. With that said stand up fist high, eyes fixed, & focused forward this is a fight for the lion hearted, be that and prevail.
