Senderos (formerly know as Viva Oaxaca) is an all volunteer nonprofit whose mission is to create pathways to success for the Latino community of Santa Cruz through sharing cultural arts and fostering educational opportunities. Founded by Oaxaquena sisters Fe Silva and Nereida Robles as an after school folklore dance club of Santa Cruz City Schools to provide positive, safe. culturally relevant activities for immigrant youth and families. They provide free programs open to everyone including afterschool dance and music classes for youth and young adults, tutoring, education scholarships, and an adult learning center.
