Oakland, CA

The International Longshore & Warehouse Union, Local 10, led several hundred people in a march in San Francisco, California, on International Workers' Day, May 1, 2016.

A rally at the ILWU Local 10's Union Hall, at 400 North Point, San Francisco, California preceded the march. Actor and activist Danny Glover was a featured speaker. The march went from the Union Hall to Harry Bridges Plaza (in front of the Ferry Building at the foot of Market St.). The day's events were part of a "National Day of Mourning" for Black and Brown unarmed victims killed by police.
