This is the only footage I could get before my phone ran out of memory. Shortly after, fellow artist Alex Skelton and I were arrested and taken to jail. they took all of our art and are holding it till Tuesday as evidence. I apologize to those of you who are waiting for commissions.
We are required to share these areas with commercial vendors, so when all the spaces are taken by these commercial vendors and others, there is no longer free expression in the public form. The city ordinance has remained the same since we first went through this ordeal. This is a small example of our constitution being deconstructed through private interests. Their parameter of the ordinance is all arbitrary. It has become a complicated and convoluted mess that discourages fellow humans from free speech and expression in public. People travel from around the world to see the diverse artistic culture found in Santa Cruz. I will not let this come to an end. Once again it is time to get involved. We already won this case on September 3rd of 2015, and we will do it again.
