Is T. Jefferson's ideal of economically sturdy, politically involved families peopling the country translatable to the urbanized world of today?

Yes! Come along on a free walking tour of San Francisco social movement history that culminates in San Francisco's public policy proposal of 1879 advocating not the distribution of land, but the socialization of land values. This was Henry George's response to the industrialization of modern economies and the growing millions of landless inhabitants of cities.

Bernie would do well to take this walk!
