Californians Against Fracking is hosting the premiere of Jon Bowermaster’s new film “Dear Governor Brown” Feb. 18 at the Landmark Theater at the Embarcadero Center. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., and the film will start at 7:30 p.m.

“Dear Governor Brown” — the latest from celebrated documentarian Jon Bowermaster, maker of “Dear Governor Cuomo” — employs interviews with climate experts, California farmers, and families living near fracked wells to explore the damage fracking and dangerous drilling cause to the climate, as well as the Golden State’s air, water, food production and public health.

The film calls on all Californians to push Gov. Brown to bring an end to fracking, drilling and other extraction methods that destroy public, environmental, and economic health.
