It's a holiday! Founders' and Renewal (Washington and Lincoln) Day!

Enjoy the physical world, Walt Whitman urged. Spirit surges when the physical world is celebrated. Taking that perspective further, the prophetic voice adjures us to labor to ensure that others have equality of access to the physical world that their spirit and body might enjoy freedom.

Come along on a walking tour exploring social justice history in San Francisco, including the prophetic voice's perfection in the call to socialize land values, articulated eloquently and for the first time most fully in San Francisco in 1879.

In the chronic housing hardship times of San Francisco, there's no better time to turn heart and head to the prophetic voice. History, sociology, political economy, theology . . . what a concatentation!
