February 1, 2016, on or after the hour of 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 375 Fifth Street, Hollister, CA.

Ratifying the Mayor's Creation of an Ad Hoc Medical Marijuana Committee at the Special City Council Meeting on January 25, 2016, and Confirming the Appointment of Councilmembers Raymond Friend and Karson Klauer to the Aforementioned Ad Hoc Committee.

Recommendation - That the City Council RATIFY the creation of the Ad Hoc Committee and its membership.

Council to reconsider pot panel after absence from agenda

After taking action at a meeting designed just for discussion Monday [Jan. 25] — the mayor's appointment of committee members to examine medicinal pot issues — the Hollister council will reconsider the same matter in light of the apparent open meetings violation.

Council members next Monday [Feb. 1] will weigh the mayor's creation of an ad hoc committee and appointment of two members for the medicinal marijuana issue.
