SEIU 1021 Joins SF Community In Supporting Removal Of SF Police Chief Suhr For Murder

SEIU 1021 members joined community activists and leaders in San Francisco in supporting the removal of the San Francisco police chief Greg Suhr who defended the murder of Bayview Hunters Point community member Mario Woods. Woods was executed by over 10 police with more than 20 bullets in his body. Rally participants also connected the the murders with the gentrification and ethnic cleansing of Bayview Hunters Point of African American and working class residents. This is escalating with developers and speculators who want the property and have the support of the politicians. The rally was called by Justice For Mario Woods coalition.
