The Funeral Of Mario Woods & The Execution Of African American Youth

Mario Woods was a young worker who was killed by the San Francisco police on December 3, 2015 with over 20 bullets in his body. He had just been hired as a UPS worker and was scheduled to go to work the next day. The funeral was held on December 17, 2015 and the family, community, youth and labor members spoke out. The ethnic cleansing and gentrification of Bayview Hunters Point was connected to the murders and racial profiling by participants of the funeral.
