Enduring Power’s striking images represent the aspirations, fears and realities of women from Yemen, Egypt, Bahrain, Iran and Kuwait. Several female photographers of Middle Eastern backgrounds present an intimate and unique perspective of an otherwise private world to the American audience. “These women are empowering themselves – against all obstacles. They are not weak or afraid. They are powerful and energized.... Let their stories be heard.” — Sina Araghi, curator.
