Dr. Gloria LaRiva will speak on "Mexico after Ayotzinapa"

Dr. LaRiva will review past and current disturbing events in Mexico. Gloria's mother was born and raised in Mexico and her father is Mexican-American. Gloria's life-long connections have given her an acute awareness of Mexican issues that led her to produce a video on the Zapatistas in Chiapas as well as a video on the effects of NAFTA, the free trade agreement that lies at the root of Mexico's social and economic crises. Q@A to follow presentation.
