On Friday, October 9th, from 6 to 9pm at 7911 MacArthur Blvd in Oakland, Akwaaba Hall hosts its free Grand Opening, a night of food and entertainment as well as a tour of the elegant facilities. Located at the Uhuru House community center, the recently renovated space will be available to the community to rent for all their important events in their lives in addition to the non-profit’s community programs and events.
