Celebrating 60 Years of Inspiring Innovation for Change

Pathways of Hope and Opportunity
Out of Poverty Action Summit

Wednesday, October 14, 2015
Downtown San Jose
The Tech Museum of Innovation

We live in one of the wealthiest and most innovative regions on the planet. And yet one in seven children is poor. We have one of the country's largest homeless populations, and 380,000 people struggle to make ends meet. With a renewed focus on alleviating, preventing, and reducing poverty, our Hope and Opportunity Summit celebrates Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County's 60 years of Changing Lives for Good. The research shows that it is possible to address poverty. But we need the public will, policy reform and social innovation to make an impact. Our Summit will engage community leaders in a three-part conversation to create a shared action agenda that moves people out of poverty in Santa Clara County.
