Free Radio Santa Cruz, your DIY community radio station is currently without a studio.

We WILL continue to broadcast on 101.3 FM and stream at http://www.freakradio.org

Some of our programmers will continue to produce and air programs because they have access to computers and can upload their shows for broadcast. Lack of a studio means that programmers who do not have access to the tools required will NOT be able to produce shows for airing. This means that some voices of our community will not be heard.

The Free Radio collective asks that if you can host our studio or know somewhere we can have our studio for at least a year, we can offer you a REWARD of $500. Please email to frsc [at] freakradio.org if you can help keep FRSC true to its mission to bring unheard community voices to the radio audience.

What we need:

* 100 to 150 square foot space that is clean, dry, secure and accessible during our broadcast day (7am to midnight).
* Electricity, phone and internet access.
* Bathroom access or place for portapotty.
* Reasonable rent for a DIY collective with community support. (We do not broadcast commercials, accept underwriting from commercial enterprises or conduct pledge drives.)

Our studio space is used for producing, downloading and scheduling programs and streaming them on the internet - all entirely legal activities. The pirate radio broadcasting takes place from another location.

Please contact us ASAP if you can help us get a new studio space. There is a $500 reward for information leading to a studio we can stay in for at least 1 year.

Thanks,

Uncle Dennis
