Refugee crisis in Europe spawned by USA Militarism
The gut-wrenching images of Syrian refugees flooding thru Euro countries are now dominating airwaves worldwide. But Western "corporate-bin-Laden" media, while focusing on the horrendous plight of the victims, completely omit the primary cause of this massive human catastrophe, namely, that the illegal U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003 and its subsequent "regime change" military interventions in Afghanistan, Libya and Syria have created the colossal societal chaos in those countries which forced millions of those victimized civilians to flee their native lands.
There is absolutely little doubt--among genuinely objective political observers worldwide--that the Imperialist wars of aggression in the Middle East unleashed by the USA rogue regime are directly responsible for the complete breakdown of any semblance of civil society in those countries targeted by Yankee Militarism. Yet the global community--including the General Assembly at the United Nations--has lacked the integrity and courage to confront this inconvenient truth. Instead, many countries, especially those in the Euro zone affected by the 'collateral damage' in the form of millions of refugees, are either unwittingly(or intentionally) blaming the "civil wars" in those countries that produced the massive outflow of refugees for the crisis, or they naively decry the reactionary terrroism of the Islamic State jihadists..
Why is it so hard to see that US Imperialism is the main culprit and, as Rev. Martin Luther King pointed out so brilliantly, that the US government /_under a Dictatorship of the Profitariat_/"is the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today"? And the real "responsibility to protect" is to confront that onerous behemoth; or better yet, in the words of that prophetic Prof. Chalmers Johnson, to "dismantle the empire."
