KPFA radio, the only radio station in the Bay Area that is not funded by corporations, will be having an election starting on August 29th to choose its delegates to its governing Local Station Board.
The station is at a critical juncture as it tries to maintain its listener base and financial viability. In this era of corporate media and the two corporate Parties, it’s crucial to keep our one non-corporate network on our public airwaves.
The Green Party invites everyone to an open forum to discuss and debate the issues facing KPFA. We are currently confirming a presenter and will announce who it will be in our next announcement, later this week.
