Congress is much more attentive to the desires of the corporations than they are to the voice of their constituents. Many bills are voted into law that are vigorously opposed by the majority of the people of this nation. SF Occupy Action Council is discussing Ralph Nader's idea to summon our Representative to a Town Meeting to discuss how we can change the situation and cause Congress to heed the voice of the people over that of the corporations.

Sunday August 2, 2015
SF Occupy Action Council meeting 2:00 to 4:00 pm
Unite Now Union hall at 215 Golden Gate Ave.

The Action Council will be discussing the idea of summoning Nancy Pelosi to a town hall meeting to advise her on the topic of improving our democracy. We are seeking ideas for how we can make her more attentive to the voice of the people, over the commands of her political party and the demands of her major donors. We seek to improve our democracy.

This is an open meeting and anyone can participate in the discussion.
