People need the right to sleep!! Sleeping outside is against a Santa Cruz City ordinance and now, critical local homeless services closed denying even the most basic of human needs - food, shelter, showers and bathrooms!

Saturday July 4 - Will you join in a peaceful, nonviolent Community Campout to protest and put pressure on local officials and economic leaders to meet the basic human needs of people living outside in our community?

Saturday, July 4 @ Santa Cruz Post Office Front and Water St.
4 - 6:00 pm share a vegan meal
7:00 pm join in a peaceful, nonviolent movement walk to a nearby park/open space for a Community Campout.
Storage and portapotty will be provided.
Morning breakfast will be served.

Food Not Bombs invites everyone for a vegan meal Saturdays and Sundays between 4-6pm at the Post Office at the corner of Front and Water Streets in Santa Cruz. Volunteers treat our unhoused friends as real friends as we prepare, serve, and share meals together.

Come and share a meal, get to know people, and become more aware of the experience of discrimination against those without homes. Build personal relationships with people living outside in the community and experience a personal change in your own priorities. Be the change you want to see!

Happening all over the United States and the world, volunteers with Food Not Bombs have an amazing impact.
