On Friday, June 5th Salinas Police brutally attacked Jose Velasco, a mentally ill man who was experiencing a schizophrenic episode. In solidarity with Jose and his mother, Rita Velasco, we will be meeting outside of the courthouse during his arraignment to demand an end to police violence and to attacks on the mentally ill.
