From 8 in the morning until 4pm, UCSC-AFT lecturers will be picketing and picnicking (12 to 2pm) at the main entrance to campus. Come by to learn about our contract fight (contract expires June 1!) and the progressive labor movement.
UC-AFT lecturers, who do much of UC's teaching for precarious status and minimal pay, are organizing for a contract fight to improve our working conditions, which are the learning conditions for our students. Please come by to support us and the idea of UC Democracy!
