by Peter Menchini
Occupy the Farm activists joined in with allies in #FightFor15 to campaign for worker rights, healthier food and an increase in the minimum wage to $15 an hour. Peter Menchini documented the three actions with three short videos. The first video, "Fight for 15 #1 The McDonald's on San Pablo", has a duration of 4:08. The second, "Fight for 15 #2 Robert Reich Goes to McDonald's", is 7:02, and the third, "Fight for 15 #3 Gill Tract Farmers & #FightFor15 Go to Sprouts", is 6:33.

At the first location, workers confronted "Ronald McDonald" about their low pay, chaotic work scheduling, poor and sometimes illegal working conditions and retaliation for calling in sick. Two on-the-job employees left the counter to join the protest.

Robert Reich, a labor advisor for 3 presidents, met them at the second McDonald's, and told them that only activism can bring out the wage increases that will benefit, not just the minimum wage workers, but all Americans, including even the wealthy. Two more employees left the counter to join the protesters.

Traveling to San Rafael, traveled to San Rafael, where they showed solidarity with the workers and educated the public on #FightFor15 and Sprouts' plan to pave over the Gill Tract Farm, a public space owned by the people of California.
