People's Park will celebrate its 46th Anniversary on Sunday, April 26, from noon to 6pm with Music, Speakers, Dancing, Drumming and Free Food catered by Food not Bombs. This Anniversary's Theme is “The Year of the Woman” so the emphasis in performers, speakers, and directing comes from our Sisters in Arms. Come out and enjoy a day in the Park, celebrate another trip around the Sun for the world's most unique social experiment. The lineup is Native American drumming and blessing with All Nation Singers, Soul/Katy Stuck, Dennis D Banjoman, Khadejha Valeré, Occupella, Andrea Prichett and Friends, The Shelley Doty X-Tet, Beeswax, and The Funky Nixons. Sprinkled in will be speakers, poetry, political diatribes etc. Join together to stop gentrification in Berkeley, the war on homelessness, no drones and power to the Sisters of our world! See you there 12:00 to 6:00pm!
