Rally Asking Obama to Shine a Light on Dark Money

The rally is one of 50 to be held throughout the country calling on President Obama to issue an executive order requiring contractors that do business with the government to disclose their political spending. At the rally there will be sings, music, petitions and information sheets all aimed at heightening the public's awareness of how big money is controlling our government and what they can do about it. The current system has led to a corrupt pay-to-play system where government contracts can secretly funnel untold sums to help elect the very same lawmakers who are responsible for awarding the contracts.
