To kick off the campaign to reform Proposition 13 and restore $6 billion to California's schools and public services, Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE) will be holding a series of rallies! Joined by Evolve and Courage Campaign, the first will be at the Chevron Refinery in Richmond this Thursday.

Under the current version of the law, commercial properties are treated the same as residential properties. That amounts to multi-million dollar tax breaks for some of the world's most profitable companies.

Chevron alone saves nearly $1 billion every year because of Prop 13. That's money that could be going to our schools, which are 49th in the nation for funding, and other public services in dire need of resources.

On Thursday, we'll stand up to these corporations together. We'll gather at Washington Park, right by the Chevron refinery in Richmond for a rally to call out these corporate tax breaks and move on to the refinery.

JOIN US and bring fellow community-members to support.
