ReVisions draws connections between community struggles and cultures of resistance to end state violence.
Art Exhibit Opening on April 3rd, First Friday in Oakland, from 5:30-9pm at Uptown Auto Body Shop- Across from Oakland Palestine Solidarity Mural in Oakland, 401 26th St, between Telegraph and Broadway.
Participating Artists Include:
All of Us or None, Art Forces, Arab Resource & Organizing Center, Onyx Organizing Committee, Middle East Children's Alliance, Dignidad Rebelde, Xicana Moratorium, Eastside Arts Alliance, Haiti Action Committee, Nidal Elkhairy, California Coalition for Women Prisoners, Oceania Coalition of Northern California, Fred Alvarado, BAYAN USA, Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, Critical Resistance, Asian Prisoners Support Committee, Juan Fuentes, CAL Students for Justice in Palestine
The exhibit will conclude with a round table discussion on April 17th, Palestinian Prisoners Day
