On Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Louden Nelson Community Center, Room 4, you are invited to a Community Forum and Meeting regarding the Development of a Temporary “Camp of Last Resort” using City Parks at Night to Sleep.

The program will include Rabbi Phil Posner who will talk about our petition to City Council, and the ethical and practical reasons why parks are a temporary solution, insufficient, but better than the current situation to helping lessen the suffering of homelessness in Santa Cruz.

Steve Pleich of the Homeless Persons Legal Assistance Project who will be discussing a "A Shelter First Model for the Homeless"

Raven Davis, Advocate for Homeless Civil Rights who will be discussing data regarding the current Parks & Recreation "Stay Away" ordinance

Audience Questions and Suggestions will follow.
