Why are the rich getting richer, and most of us poorer?

Friday, Feb. 6, 7pm
2969 Mission St., SF

In his Jan. 20 State of the Union address, President Obama presented a rosy picture of the state of the economy and U.S. foreign policy. For billionaires, there is no question that things are going well. In 2014, 80 billionaires had the equivalent wealth of half the world’s people. But what is the state of the country for the working class? Have wages increased? Has the economy recovered for people looking for jobs? Has the Obama administration ended the era of war and occupation and brought about peace and prosperity? How would a socialist system tackle the myriad of social problems facing us today? Join us for reports and discussion on the struggle for real change and what that change will look like.

2969 Calle Mission, San Francisco
