Have you heard about Slavery Footprint? Justin Dillon is a one-time musician who got involved in the anti-slavery movement hosting benefit concerts. He made abolitionism his full time job, making his directorial debut in the human trafficking documentary, "Call+Response." The U.S. State Department saw the film and asked Justin to help develop a narrative that would allow individuals to understand their connection to modern-day slavery, so Slavery Footprint was born.

During our branch meeting you can learn how to find out how many slaves work for you through an interactive program. Members of the audience will be able to participate in a demonstration of the program.

Following the demonstration a speaker from the Santa Clara County District Attorney's office will provide information about how the problem is being addressed in our county. The speaker, Paola Estanislao, is the DA's human trafficking specialist.
