Urgent Call For Support to Defeat the "Mumia Gag Law" SB 508!
Prison Radio, Mumia Abu-Jamal, Educators for Mumia and others are represented by the Abolitionist Law Center & the Amistad Law Project in a federal lawsuit to defeat Pennsylvania's new "Mumia Gag Law"- SB508, which threatens to silence Mumia and ALL prisoners. We need your help to make the lawsuit possible.
Please DONATE TO THE LEGAL BATTLE HERE: bit.ly/defendfreespeech
Pennsylvania's new law SB508 will shut down the first amendment right of free speech for all formerly and currently incarcerated folks in Pennsylvania. It targets Mumia Abu-Jamal, and if it passes, will surely carry over into other states.
Prison Radio is filed a federal court lawsuit to overturn SB508, and we NEED everyone support to fund the legal battle!
As of this post, we raised 55% of our goal. We have two weeks to raise $19,000. When you donate, every dollar will be doubled by the Redwood Justice Fund.
We know our grassroots strength will power up this lawsuit and defeat the Fraternal Order of Police!!!!
Thank you for supporting this historic battle to protect prisoners' right to SPEAK! Fists up!

The Philadelphia airwaves have been talking about the story of Mumia Abu Jamal allegedly killing officer Daniel Faulkner for many years now. I have always had great interest in the story since I was young and for as long as I can remember a local talk show host named Dom Giordano has always been very a very vocal supporter to execute Mumia. His views have always been something that I always thought were very personal to him, or he was a good actor, which isn't so, because on some other topics he is not very believable in his "passionate" pleas. But with this case, it's always been as if Dom's family itself was affected greatly by the Mumia situation.
I now see that my hunch may be right, and I will tell you why. The first senior officer that showed up on the scene of officer Faulkner's murder was named Alfonso J. Giordano. This Officer was the one responsible for testifying at the hearing to hold the case for trial that Mumia had admitted to him that "he dropped the gun" after shooting officer Faulkner. Which is very interesting considering the other day on Dom's radio program, Dom said that Mumia had admitted to killing the officer, which is untrue, so I called his bluff on the air, and he couldn't describe any place Mumia admitted to the murder....I bet he was dying to say "MY DADDY SAID SO"!
So you may wonder, why does Dom take this so personally, as I have wondered?
Well, it seems that this case ruined Officer Giordano's career. He was never called to testify during the trial even though he was one of the first officers on the scene and allegedly heard a confession. He was forced to desk duty during the trial and actually resigned the day after the first trial was over. Four years later he was indicted for taking bribes from the pimps and prostitutes in the same area officer Faulkner was murdered. An interesting fact is that Officer Faulkner was known as a good cop and was trying to stop the prostitution and gambling rings that Giordano was later convicted of protecting. Alfonso Giordano later turned states evidence and became a government witness for the Feds. It completely ruined him.
So now, Mr. Dom Giordano, the man who just spearheaded the campaign to silence Mumia, is Alfonso Giordano your Daddy? Are you related to Alfonso Giordano in anyway, Dom? Is this a case of retribution for the case that exposed your crooked Papa?
