10/18 - Cheap Thrills! (16mm/B&W/Color/Silent/Musical Accompaniment/80 min.)
In this edition of Cheap Thrills!, we celebrate “Home Movie Day” with a compilation of surreal short subjects, all independently produced including: A TRIP TO THE MOON (1902), UN CHIEN ANDALOU (1929), rare Kodachrome home movies and much more.

Plus, we proudly present a newly discovered short, A ROMAN HOLIDAY (1927), a very rare erotic and surreal “art” film which deals with death, slavery and the Roman legal system. The inter-titles suggest that the film was not meant for theatrical exhibition so, come and see the very first public performance of this film.
