Iraq, Syria and ISIS:
Will there be a new U.S. war in the Middle East?

Friday, Septempber 5, 7pm
2969 Mission St., San Francisco

Once again, the U.S. military is bombing Iraq regularly. During 13 years of sanctions and 8 years of occupation, the U.S. bombed Iraq on a daily basis. What has prompted Washington to resume military intervention in Iraq? How did a reactionary sectarian force, ISIS take over 1/3 of the country’s territory, along with much of Syria? How did the U.S. occupation of Iraq and intervention in Syria give rise to the Islamic State (ISIS)? And, three years after the NATO bombing and the overthrow of the independent secular state in Libya, what are the conditions there today?

Join us to hear answers to these questions and participate in discussion.

Presentación y Foro Público

Iraq, Siria y el Estado Islámico (ISIS):
¿Habrá nueva Guerra de EEUU en Medio Oriente?

Viernes, 5 de septiembre, 7pm
2969 Calle Mission, San Francisco
