Northern California activists Gloria La Riva and Jamier Sale traveled to Ferguson, Missouri as part of a Party for Socialism and Liberation solidarity delegation that joined the protests against the racist police murder of Michael Brown.
In the military terror unleashed against the demonstrators, along with many other victims, La Riva was struck by a “rubber bullet”- really a plastic-coated steel projectile – and Sale was tear gassed. Other PSL activists were arrested and injured in a police assault on peaceful demonstrators. Hear eyewitness accounts on the actions of the police and the courageous resistance of the African American community and supporters in Ferguson. Join a discussion on the origins of the uprising, an update on the struggle, and ideas on how we can build solidarity with the people of Ferguson.
