Psychosocial support
The United Nations estimates at least 373,000 children require direct and specialized psychosocial support. And based on the total number of adults killed, there may be up to 1,500 children orphaned. Gazan children’s right to an education has also been severely compromised, with at least 25 schools reportedly damaged so severely they can no longer be usedthe future of Palestinian children in Gaza is extraordinarily bleak.
"The entire population has experienced a deep form of trauma, and there isn’t a single family in Gaza who hasn’t experienced personally death, injury, the loss of their home. The psychological toll that has on a people, it just cannot be overestimated, and especially on children. I’ve met children who have experienced extraordinary wounds, who have watched as family members were dismembered before their eyes, obliterated"
Pernille Ironside, chief of UNICEF’s Gaza field office
The Palestinians are people, persecuted and poor in spirit. They are sweet and soft and broken by the violence they have been up against for so many years. I know it’s hard for you to see their suffering, but it’s also hard. The Palestinians are people, persecuted and poor in spirit. They are sweet and soft and broken by the violence they have been up against for so many years. I know it’s hard for you to see their suffering, but it’s also hard. It is easy to feel anger, but can you feel sorrow for the perpetrators of this evil? Can you feel the pain I feel at these who were once called children but who now commit such acts of violence against beloved Palestinians?

§Congress Needs some as well
I think our congress could use a lot of psychotherapy. Here we have a group of powerful people who don't say much of anything about the US blowing up grandmas and little kids, let alone criticizing Israel for blowing lots of little kids and grandmas. If I took a sanity meter into congress it would not go past 5%.
