We are proud to host Dennis Banks, Native American leader and co-founder of the American Indian Movement (A.I.M.), to speak and present the documentary "A Good Day to Die." From the Anishnabe nation and born in Leech Lake Reservation, Minnesota, Dennis led historic struggles for the civil and human rights of Native American people, beginning in 1968. This stunning and compelling film presents an intimate look at Dennis Banks' life beginning with his early experience in racist boarding schools, his military service in Japan, his transformative experience in Stillwater State Prison and subsequent founding of a movement that, through confrontational actions in Washington DC, South Dakota and Wounded Knee, changed the lives of American Indians.

Dennis Banks has worked with young Warriors all colors and Creeds.....he's led them across this nation...they camped amongst the reeds....they both know very well LOSS and so too 'bout PRISON.....and both know damn well that the Youth must be ARISEN....
