Friends & comrades & curious concerneds:
Coffee Not Cops in the Tender Loin's going as strong as can be!
As of this Saturday,
we know it as a 6+ month rupture of:
Weekly, joyful, kind community based around sharing,
Tasty healthy vegan food & hot coffee, so good it's (illegal &) gone before 30 minutes (packed lines!),
&fluid, & thickening bonds between neighbors & strangers!
In fact, TL CNC @ Polk & Hemlock
is going SO strong,
we're being challenged with the question of:
"How can Our lovely Chaos café
survive the 1st attack,
by the Lord of the 2 adjacent bars,
allied with the health department,
this upcoming Saturday?"
That's right, the two-headed viper of (b1o) policing & ($emiotic) profit is preparing to contRol, contain & crush our helpful, harmless, heart (& stomach) warning
This is a call for help in resistance!
Food Not Bombs was, continues to be, & will be a force for good in our world (among so many), but like all good, faces ridicule, indifference, and repression!
Our Movement, aligning ourselves with the Universal ethic of care, joy, & rebellion,
is asking whoever could to come down!
As newcomers who fear to be further planting the seeds of gentrification, we do our best to help out others in the area.
But we know that the colorful excluded,
glared upon as wretched,
by the gaze of colonial capital,
That possesses souls of downlooking crackers,
Are the resilient ones!
In this universal escalation of empire...
Anything that gives us hope for Tomorrow...
Even if only 3 steps away from despair!
Poems, signs, music, goods, labor, presence
Whatever we can,
As mousey & meek as may be
We roar, like tender lions!
For another world, a new world!
While the brutes eat steak inside their kkkars,
We hold our heads up,
So warmed by such small stars!
