SF Living Wage Coalition Fourth Annual Awards Dinner
The Living Wage Coalition is a grassroots movement of low-wage workers and their allies fighting for economic justice since 1998 to change political priorities so that government does not subsidize poverty wage employers. We are engaged in a transformative rethinking of the economy that makes the goals of economic development a more prosperous, healthier and livable community for all working people. This year’s Labor Woman of the Year Award will be presented to Maria Guillen, activist in SEIU Local 1021, and executive board member of the San Francisco Labor Council. The Labor Man of the Year Award will be presented to Allan Fisher, activist and past president of AFT Local 2121, and delegate to the San Francisco Labor Council.
