The first annual Sacramento PRIDE Awards event and reception is June 24th at 5:30 pm at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Sacramento. At this must attend event we will be recognizing Sacramento leaders for their community service, leadership and good old fashioned "get it done" attitudes. These LGBT (and ally) activists are synonymous with leadership, service and commitment to their communities. They donate their time and money to helping making our community safer, shattering stigmas, fighting for rights and much more. The event will include a no-host bar, appetizers, and the awards presentation.

The proceeds of this event will support the hard work and programming at the Sacramento LGBT Community Center. We serve the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community and its allies in the greater Sacramento area and surrounding counties by providing meeting space, diverse programming, advocacy, and cultural activities in an affirming, compassionate, and safe environment. The Sacramento LGBT Community Center is recognized for our excellence and our commitment to the LGBT community of the greater Sacramento region by developing and sustaining quality, innovative programs and services that support, strengthen, and champion this diverse community.
