Friday June 6th: tell the ACCJC to act fairly! The Accrediting Commision that wants to close City College of SF (or at least downsize and privatize as part of a corporate overhaul) is meeting on Friday. Help is needed to generate even more pressure on the ACCJC to change its corrupt and unfair practices. We are winning! CCSF remains open and accredted. Enroll now.
•We will be starting the day at Cathedral Square (not Cesar Chavez Park, as was earlier planned) and then marching three blocks to the Citizen Hotel, where the ACCJC is meeting.
•If you have mobility issues, please let us know so that we can make arrangements.
•Boxed lunches will be provided.
•Please wear yellow and red for Public Ed, if you can.
If you are driving/carpooling:
Meet us at Cathedral Square on 11th and K (right in front of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament) at 10:30am. Please note the location change! There are plenty of parking garages around the area.
We also need help transporting people to Sacramento. Please email organizer Athena Waid (awaid [at] aft2121.org
) if you have extra room in your car.
Please meet us at Conlan Hall on Ocean Campus at 8am. We will be departing Sacramento at 2pm and should get back to San Francisco around 4pm (possibly later, depending on traffic).
If you have any problems or questions during the day of the march, please call Athena Waid (406-531-0503) or Ona Keller (612-210-1056).
